I’ve seen pictures on Instagram of women in US Army uniforms with guns. They give the pictures captions like “Drop a like for our brave women soldiers,” or “These are strong women who fight and die alongside the men overseas.” I thought women could only serve in desk jobs, as technicians or mechanics on base, etc. I’ve never seen ANY pictures of a wounded female US Military soldier. I don’t know if these Instagram accounts are taking pictures of women from movies or from airsoft events and captioning them to get likes, but if they are that is EXTREMELY disrespectful to call these women “soldiers” brave when thousands of REAL male soldiers get brutally dismembered and injured overseas every year.
