[Question] Does the military still push active duty to pursue college degrees, specifically toward for-profit colleges?

it’s not a knife it’s a tactical flashlight

When I got out 10 years ago in the Navy, it was really common to see many of my first classes and chiefs touting their University of Phoenix degrees and saying how easy it is to get. It pushed a lot of my friends towards these for-profit colleges and when they got out they realized none of it transferred to the schools they really wanted to go to.

I was just wondering how is the culture like now? Is there more awareness about these types of degrees? Just as when I was getting out, there was a push for all E6+ to get a college degree, and I think it may have been a requirement. Associates for E7, Bachelors for E8, and masters for E9.
