How does a nuclear submarine use uranium to move?

it’s not a knife it’s a tactical flashlight

As far as i know. When you start a nuclear reaction. Uranium just gets really hot. In nuclear reactors you use that heat to boil water. But how would a nuclear engine use that heat to move stuff?

I hope im not asking for anything classified. But i would appericiate if someone gave me an Eli5?

(plz mods no ban)
